This is the natural one. No foam anywhere in it, just 1500 individual pocket springs topped with layers of cotton, wool and silk, the fillings mattress makers used long before foam existed and still the best answer if you want a breathable bed that sleeps cool.
The mattress is dual sided, so you can flip it. Both sides are fully finished sleeping surfaces, which spreads the wear across two faces and keeps the mattress comfortable and supportive for years longer than a one-sided design. The sides are hand stitched by skilled craftsmen, hours of work most mattress makers skip, because anchoring the outer rows of springs by hand gives a firmer, more supportive edge than any machine finish.
Natural fillings do the practical work too. Cotton and wool are naturally hypoallergenic and breathable, so the sleep surface stays fresh and cool through the night. The borders are 100% Egyptian cotton, with cotton fabric on the top and bottom faces.
This is a medium feel mattress, around 6 to 7 out of 10, and you sleep on it rather than in it. Bear in mind firmness feels a little different depending on your weight and build. Approx 10 inches deep.
