While many upholstered frame beds use regular individual wooden slats, our framed board construction provides a stable, full-width sleeping platform that's suitable for all standard mattress types, including memory foam, pocket sprung, hybrid and latex mattresses.
As well as providing dependable support, the framed board base creates practical seasonal under-bed storage, making it easy to keep spare bedding, luggage or occasional-use items neatly tucked away. Simply remove the mattress whenever access is required.
If you want convenient access to the space beneath your bed, the Lexi can be upgraded with our optional gas-lift ottoman storage system.
Instead of the standard framed board base, the ottoman version features a heavy-duty metal support frame fitted with pre-tensioned sprung slats. Assisted by powerful gas struts, the mattress and sleeping platform lift together effortlessly, giving you quick access to the generous hidden storage compartment below.
