The softest of our cooling mattresses, and the one to look at if you sleep on your side. The HoverRest pairs 1500 fabric encased pocket springs with a 50mm layer of open cell foam that cushions your shoulders and hips where a side sleeper needs it most.
Open cell foam is built differently to memory foam. Memory foam softens in response to your body heat, which is why it hugs you, sleeps warm and lags behind when you move. Open cell foam responds to pressure instead, so it reacts instantly, lets air flow through, and springs straight back when you change position. The result is a floating, almost pressureless feel, which is where the HoverRest name comes from. The sleep surface is completely flat too, with no tufting buttons to feel through the fabric.
The cover is Cooler Extreme+ fabric, a soft knitted stretch material designed for a cool sleep surface. It is hypoallergenic, with airflow built into the design for circulation while you sleep.
This is a medium soft mattress, and you sleep on it rather than in it. Bear in mind firmness feels a little different depending on your weight and build. Approx 10 inches deep.
Developed by us and handmade to order in Britain. Every mattress is made fresh when you order, never pulled from old stock. Spread the cost weekly, fortnightly or monthly with Snap Finance if that suits you better.
One tip from experience: the smooth stretch fabric works best with a deep fitted sheet with good elastic, which stays put far better than a shallow one.
